Staying at Sawrey House Hotel was a delightful experience. The room was beautifully decorated with a magnificent four-poster bed and a view of the lake, although slightly on the smaller side. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff making our anniversary celebration even more special. The location is superb, surrounded by picturesque sights like Hill Top and Beatrice Potter's home, though the dining options were a letdown. Overall, the hotel retains its elegance and charm, providing a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.

The Esthwaite Room I stayed in at this hotel was spotless and had everything I needed, but it was not well lit and would benefit from brighter light bulbs or additional lamps. The room was very small, which was a downside. The service was a mix of experiences; while some staff members were very attentive and friendly, others seemed more conspicuous by their absence. The location, with its fantastic views and beautifully decorated ambiance, truly impressed me. The dining experience was hearty with an excellent choice of meals, but I wish there were more vegetarian options. Overall, a lovely 2-night break at this beautiful hotel.
